School Choice
SCHOOL YEAR 2024-2025
The School Committee voted on 2/7/24 to open the following spots for the 2024/2025 school year:
5 spots in Grade 9
1 spot in Grade 10
If a current LHS student needs to relocate to a different city/town and they will be in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade for the 2024-2025 school year, they will be allowed to remain at LHS until they graduate if they fill out a school choice application and do not withdraw from the district.
If you are interested in applying for school choice for the 2024-2025 school year, please fill out the application below and submit to Liz Petersen, Superintendent's Office either via email lpetersen@lunenburgschools.net or via postal mail 1025 Massachusetts Avenue, Lunenburg, MA 01462.
**Please note that School Choice students do not receive transportation.

At the 2-1-23 School Committee Meeting, the following decision was made regarding School Choice for the 2023-2024 school year:
There will be 5 seats open in Grade 9
No seats will be open in Grade 10
One seat will be open in Grade 11
If a current LHS student needs to relocate to a different city/town and they will be in 11th or 12th grade for the 2023-2024 school year, they will be allowed to remain at LHS until they graduate if they choose.
