Post date: Jun 13, 2017 2:47:11 PM

Congratulations and thank you for a great year! To the students faculty and staff, thank you for making 2016-2017 an outstanding school year. Well done! It was engaging and filled with learning. A big thank you also to the Lunenburg PTO and all the parents/guardians for the support you provide the students and our schools.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING RESIDENCY VERIFICATION –Please be advised that over the summer we will be conducting residency verification for ALL students entering 3rd, 6th, or 9th grades. The residency verification will begin with cross referencing student addresses with the Town’s list of property owners. Any discrepancies will be investigated. Parents/guardians of students whose residency cannot be verified from the property list will receive a communication from the school office in July requesting specific documents. If contacted parent/guardians are required to respond by August 16 with the appropriate proof to remain enrolled.

Reminder: Lunenburg Police Relief Association Cruise Night is tomorrow, June 14, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Town Center Cruise Night Flyer.pdf

Summer Lunch Program – The Lunenburg Public Library is hosting a summer lunch program for children and teens 18 and under. They can enjoy a free lunch on Monday and Wednesdays from 12-1pm! Meals4Kids Flyer.pdf

Cable Television License Hearing- The Board of Selectmen will be holding the public hearing for the Town’s cable television license. The public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 17 Main Street. The hearing is to determine whether to issue a cable television license to Comcast, the current licensed provider. The Selectmen and the Cable Advisory Committee encourage you to attend. This is an opportunity to voice concerns about signal quality, customer service, and the cable television needs of residents, businesses, and Town departments. Please note that is solely related to broadcast/cable service and not internet service.

Have a wonderful summer break!

Sincerely,

Superintendent Loxi Jo Calmes
