Announcing the Lunenburg Public Schools Summer Sessions

This is a summer program for students in grades K and up. Three sessions: June 26-30, July 5-7 and July 10-14. More than a summer camp, each session offers a week long, full-day program that offers a mix of athletic, academic, and personal interest sessions. Each day will feature dynamic sessions to challenge your child in their areas of interest. This program will be staffed by Lunenburg Public Schools’ teachers, staff, and coaches as well as recent graduates. A Lunenburg Public Schools nurse will be on site at all times.

All activities will be supervised by at least one LPS teacher, staff member or coach and at least one recent LHS graduate attending college in a related field of study. Student to staff ratio will be no larger than 8 to 1. Tuition is $150-$250 per week per participant. The program day will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. All activities and groups will be age appropriate.

Registration will begin on March 24, 2017. We will be able to accommodate every student who is interested in participating. Profits from this program will go directly back into our school athletic programs and activities.

Sessions already planned include art, arts and crafts, competitive sports, digital video, fun and games, high school sports, youth sports, weight training, cross training, strength and conditioning, personal fitness, college selection process, financial literacy, hands on math, STEM, entrepreneurship, horror movies, and more. We will add to the list as more teachers develop programs. A complete list will be sent with registration forms on March 24th and will be available on line.

Please contact summer program director Pete McCauliff pmccauliff@lunenburgonline.com if you have any suggestions or questions.
