ARP ESSER GRANT ALLOCATION

Overview of Strategic Spending Plan Post-COVID.pdf

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP ESSER) is a Federal Grant to help school districts safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the nation’s students.  The funding is to focus on reopening schools safely, sustaining their safe operation, and addressing students’ social, emotional, mental health, and academic needs resulting from the pandemic.

The Lunenburg Public Schools will receive $1,350,083.00 over the next three school years.

The Districts must reserve at least 20% of funds to address learning loss through the implementation of evidence-based interventions and ensure that those interventions respond to students’ social, emotional, and academic needs and address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on underrepresented students/subgroups.
