Standards of Conduct--Employee Arrest

District Policy 4113 states, In the event an employee of the Lunenburg School Department is arrested on criminal charges the situation will be addressed on a case-by-case basis and judged by the Superintendent after an investigation which will include, but not be limited to, the following:


1.      The extent and seriousness of the charges against the employee.

2.      The level of effect on the employee’s ability to perform his/her duties.

3.      Whether the charges against the employee involve moral turpitude.


After an investigation conducted by the Superintendent, the employee may receive disciplinary action including reprimand, suspension with or without pay pending the outcome of the arrest charges or termination of employment.
