Sexual Harassment Policy

Discrimination on the basis of race, creed, ancestry, color, gender, age, religion, handicap or disability, marital or parental status, home, veteran status, status as a Vietnam-era disabled veteran, national origin, sexual orientation or any other legally protected status (in compliance with Titles I, VI, VII, IX and Section 504, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, McKinney-Vento Act) is illegal so is harassment on the basis of any of these categories. 
 

Staff will be directed to the district’s harassment policy (4111) annually and will be required to acknowledge their understanding of this policy and the other policies and procedures contained in this document by signing a handbook receipt form.  Questions regarding the sexual harassment policy may be directed to the Superintendent of Schools, 1025 Massachusetts Avenue, Lunenburg, MA  01462 (978.582.4100, extension 211) or a building administrator.  Please see district policy (Appendix A).
