Smoking/Use of Tobacco Products, Alcohol Use, and Drug Use

In compliance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 71, Section 37H and the Massachusetts Smoke-Free Workplace Law (M.G.L. chapter 270, section 22), which prohibits smoking in workplaces in order to protect employees and the public from secondhand smoke, the buildings and grounds will be designated as a smoke-free environment. Employees, students, and visitors are restricted from using any tobacco product, including smoking or chewing, within school buildings, the school facilities, on the school grounds or on school buses. 

 

Lunenburg Public Schools complies with the Drug-free Workplace Act of 1988, which prohibits manufacturing, distributing, using, and/or possessing a controlled substance on school property or involved in school business or school trips. (See District Policy 4102 for more information).
