2014-2015 Extended Day Program

Dear Parents/Guardians:

This year the Extended Daycare Program will be at T.C. Passios (Pre-K~5th). The hours of operation are 7:00 AM -5:30 PM. The Primary Building school hours are 9 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. THMS school hours are 8:10.a.m. to 2:40 p.m. A separate sign up form will be available for early release days and school vacations. Extended Day will be at TCP in the mornings this coming year, children will be bussed to the Primary School and Turkey Hill Middle School.

 

********************IMPORTANT*******************

Once you fill out your child’s registration you will need to send a note to their teacher indicating your child’s extended day schedule. The teacher will then be able to put them in the extended day line to get on the bus to come over to TCP.

 

THERE WILL BE NO EXTENDED DAYCARE ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS:                        

Extended Day will be closing at 12:00 on November 26th for the Holiday break. No Extended Day bus available

EXTENDED DAY WILL BE CLOSED ON ALL SNOW DAYS AND DELAYED THE SAME TIME FRAME ON DELAYED DAYS.

 

The cost of the program is $4.50 per hour. You will be billed at the end of each month for services rendered. Payments will be due by the 10th of the following month. Please pay by check whenever possible, payable to T.C. Passios. If you and your child have different last names, make note of that in the memo section of your check.  A fee may be assessed for late payment.

There will be a fee charged to parents who are late in picking up their child. The fee will be $5.00 for every five minutes that the parent is late. If a pattern of tardiness is noted, the child could be dropped from the program.

Parents will be certain to notify the adult supervisor when they come to pick up their child. It is necessary to sign your child out. Your child will only be dismissed to those on the emergency dismissal list.

If there will be a change in your child’s pick up schedule you must notify us in writing or speak directly to the school secretary.


*NO HOT LUNCHES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SCHOOL VACATION DAYS, SNOW DAYS OR HALF DAYS, a bagged
lunch must be provided. A $20.00 fee will be implemented for children signed up and who do not show on that
date without an advanced warning.

*Homework will be mandatory unless a note comes in from the parent indicating that their child does not have
to do it at extended day.

*Please label all removable articles of clothing. (ex: jackets, hats, etc.). Please make sure that you read any
notice that comes with your monthly bill for any additional information.


Please fill out the attached registration form, emergency health and contact form completely and return it promptly to the staff at the school your child will be attending.
